How Cameron Has Inspired Us All
The success of Cameron of Today, the first novel in the Let My People Go series, has become more than a literary milestone—it’s the seed of a movement. My vision is to bring Cameron of Today to schools around the world. The novel will be accompanied by the Inspired Writers Workshop, a curriculum designed to help students write their own stories and prepare their manuscripts for publication. When this intention takes shape, the magic of storytelling will ripple outward—one story, one heart, one classroom at a time.
That same spirit of transformation lives in people like Tashi, a Tibetan monk who resides beside his Stupa in El Pescadero, Mexico. Tashi shared with me that more than a dozen local non-profits are joining hands to uplift lives throughout the Todos Santos region. Their collaborative vision beautifully mirrors the Let My People Go mission—to unite local efforts under one shared roof of purpose. I call these places Dream Centers, spaces where creativity, compassion, and community come together to make change tangible.
