So exciting Jody! I finished your wonderful book yesterday. As I’ve told you before, your writing and character development are excellent. I feel I know all of your characters well, and sure wish I had my own Uncle Ed! I can definitely see this as a series for young readers, teaching Godly values. I loved your knowledge of river rafting, guided fishing, and wild boar hunting. Your writing about the young girl who drowned in the river was so good. You created good emergent tension, and the appropriate level of sadness. Well done, my friend! I wish you many blessings and tons of sales. I loved the way Jody presented the characters. I could see them clearly in my mind’s eye through the book. This book would be beneficial to young teens and adults, especially in today's world. The messages that Cameron received from his interaction with Ed, Mike and Jo helped him to become a grounded and insightful person. Everybody needs an Uncle Ed in their life! I especially liked the chapter title Joy Comes in the Morning. Isn’t that the truth! We all have to go through some rough spots in life to appreciate that sentiment.
